Jen Watson
After attending a friends birth I knew that birth was the place for me. I wanted to know more about birth and how to advocate, support, comfort and use my massage skills to help laboring women. I completed Seattle Midwifery Schools Doula Program in 2003 and started attending births as a volunteer at UW Hospital. The UW was a great place to gain experience. They are a busy hospital serving a very diverse community. I also volunteered with their expecting multiples class, the only one in the state. I moved to Kitsap in 2008 and have been a doula, massage therapist and private/community childbirth educator.
I love birth and helping families enter parenthood. It is my greatest joy to see women get what they need in labor. It is my goal to help you achieve the birth of your dreams. I bring all my knowledge of the body & birth to support mothers and babies on their journey through the birth process. It is a great honor to walk alongside any woman who wants my support.
I reside in Poulsbo with my husband, two children, weiner dog and a spirited little Puerto Rican rescue pup. In my spare time I love to sew, dye textiles and make soap and candles.
