I have been a professional and active doula since 2003. I have attended over 400 births in fifteen different hospitals, three birth centers and many, many homes. I am an active doula in the birth room. I take 1-2 clients per month. My goals are to keep you and your family as comfortable and as informed as possible. I want all of your physical and emotional needs met.I want to teach your birth partner to be me and learn all my moves to help their partner. I want you to know all of your options at every turn. I have experience with all the facets of birth including transfers of care, high risk pregnancies, rainbow babies, inductions, gestational diabetes, hypertension, planned and unplanned c-sections, v-bacs and malpositioned babies and losses. I use my experience, my bodywork skills and my childbirth education for every birth I attend. Jen massaged me in between contractions making sure that I met each one with the tension of jello. Free consultation to explain services & answer questions in your home or via zoom One ninety minute massage before your birth at your home One prenatal visit around 35-37 weeks to learn your expectations, desires, fears and discuss comfort measures. Help you make plans for birth anytime Phone and email support throughout pregnancy/postpartum Continuous support through out your labor and early postpartum One postpartum visit to review your birth and check in on your adjustment Breastfeeding support Photos with your camera, if you choose I also know a great birth photographer Referrals (lactation, acupuncture, midwives and obstetricians, etc.) References available I have an experienced backup doula available if needed I have attended all types of births (home, hospital & birth center) in Kitsap, Jefferson and King County. LBGTQ, non-traditional families, and non-traditional parenting supported .
